Resting under the Monster Tree.

Just outside the Yokai Academy graveyard, just past the headstone path, a massive tree towered above the ground. The tree's trunk twisted and branched out into a monstrous, yet beautiful display, making it a Yokai Academy landmark. In the center of the tree's trunk, the bark had shaped itself into a malevolent looking face that watched whomever came close. Moka grinned in delight as she walked down the open headstone path. She loved resting beneath the massive tree while she read or studied. In her hands, she carried a book and a can of tomato juice. She made her way down the last stretch of the path until she came up to the huge tree. She cleared a spot at the base of it's trunk, then sat down. She placed the can of juice at her right side, then opened her book. The cool shade that the tree's branches created had shielded her from the sun's rays, making it easier to read. She sat alone, as a cool breeze whispered past her, it being the only sound in the area.

Rin could be seen walking near the tree with his hands in his pockets.

She smiled to herself as she read through her novel, Blood and Chocolate as the sun slowly started to set.

He walked over to the tree and up then onto the a branch.

She looked up from her book and noticed Rin sitting on the branch above her.

He sat down on the branch and rested his back against the trunk while listening to his MP3, listening to the song World Without Logos.

She chuckled to herself as she finished three more chapters of her book.

He closed is eye while the music continued to play.

She soon finished her book, then closed it, tucking it back in her satchel before she reached for the can of tomato juice that sat next to her. She popped the top then slowly sipped down the thick fluid.

He switched songs and began to listen Chinese Democracy by Guns 'N' Roses.

Moka finished her drink then crushed the empty can before tossing it into the litter bin nearby. She then sat back beneath the massive shade tree and gazed up at the azure heavens. The cottony clouds drifted across the sky without a care in the world. She chuckled lightly at the obsurd thought of clouds having emotions, yet it somehow made her feel a somewhat calm sensation within her. She occasionally glanced up at Rin without him noticing, a light crimson hue suddenly appearing on her smooth, alabaster cheeks.

His MP3 began playing Changed by Deftones and he opened his eyes as they seemed to be a dark purple while his arua seemed to swirl around him like wild fire.

Moka soon found herself blushing as she gazed up at Rin. Her eyes wouldn't look away.

His eyes went back to normal as he looked down at Moka while his music continued to play.

She blushed dark crimson and swiftly looked away, still feeling his gaze on her.

He tilted his head to the side a bit then he looked up at the moon as his eyes seemed transfixed on it as he noticed beginning to turn crimson.

She swiftly rose to her feet and walked away, too embarassed to look back.

He looked over to her and almost instantly he appeared by her side with his hands in his pockets.

She stumbled back, suprised by Rin's sudden appearance. She did her best to hide her crimson face behind her hair.

"Lovely moon isn't it?" He loooked up at the moon as it was completely blodd red.

She glanced up at the moon then back at him. Y-Yes..yes it is..

He looked back over to her and for the first time in a what seems like years he softly and gently smiled.

She blushed more intensely now at the sight of Rin's smile.

His smiled faded as he heard rustling from the bushes not to far from them.

Moka jumped at the sound and quickly glanced at the bushes. R-Rin....do you think....
